During my college years, I somehow became the girl known for doing all the hair and makeup for the sorority events and the university fashion shows. I found a knack for it, but never considered it to be something I could do for a career! After graduating, I decided to purchase a salon from a retiring stylist, with the intention of converting it into a small clothing boutique, joined with a salon.  I enrolled in cosmetology school with the simple mindset of "this could be fun! I'll do hair and sell clothes!" I've done a little of everything in the salon environment, and eventually I found my true purpose - Curly Hair!

  Fast forward 15+ years later, my space has evolved into specialty salon focused on curly hair, and no longer sell clothing! I became an educator for DevaCurl in 2012, and now I am also able to travel the country sharing my knowledge of curly hair with hundreds of other hairstylists. 

  I truly love what I do, and nothing gives me greater joy than showing a woman how to feel beautiful and how to care for her hair.
